I am Janet Adler Broker, and after a 25 year career in corporate sales for multibillion dollar international corporations I transitioned from regional sales to local Real Estate in Manhattan in 1992.
While working for one of Manhattans largest brokerages I was shown that their strength was in purchasing mass advertising. When properties started selling before such actions could be published their market advantage vanished. I remember when the glossy books we produced on a listing were delivered to the new owners a month after closing.
